

Course Description:
The Algebra for HealthCare Professionals course curriculum is designed for students who are preparing for a career in the health professions. Students will gain skills needed by healthcare professionals to solve problems involving dosages and solutions. There is an emphasis on problem solving in the health sciences fields.
Course Details:
- The J´Reneé MTH 157 course is an accelerated program held for 4-6 weeks, depending on the session. It involves 41 hours of lecture/theory.
- Daytime and evening classes are scheduled. Contact the Admissions Office for the latest schedule and to register.

- Course Content includes basic math skills: Fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios and proportions to advanced algebraic application skills: factoring, operations with algebraic and rational expressions, exponents and systems of linear equations and elements of statistics.

Tuition:
Contact the Admissions Office for the current program tuition. Tuition includes course books. A down payment is required to enroll in the program. Students may participate in a payment plan at no additional costs or finance charges.
Enrollment:
To enroll in MTH 157, make an appointment to visit our campus Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to speak with a member of the Admissions Team.
A one-time student application must be submitted to enroll in any J´Reneé program. The application fee is $35. Payments are accepted in cash, check or credit card. Students may complete their applications in advance by utilizing the link below, or they may be completed on campus during their admissions appointment.
